De Metz advises Administor on the acquisition of Werring & Schuler
Administor invests in Werring & Schuler
Dutch based investor Administor has acquired Werring & Schuler, a renowned financial administrative services provider based in Den Dolder, the Netherlands. De Metz (Peter Visser and Marlon van der Maat) acted for Administor.
Administor is an independent investor focusing on strong financial administrative services providers, managed by seasoned entrepreneurs with the ambition to realise expedited growth and to play an active role in market consolidation.
The market for financial administrative services providers in the Netherlands is big (approx. EUR 2 billion) and growing and with over 12,000 players still very fragmented. Market trends such as ageing, necessary investments in digitalization and inherent economies of scale are increasingly important drivers for market consolidation. Administor responds to this consolidation trend by investing in businesses with growth potential.
Werring & Schuler is and has been a household name in financial administrative services in Midden-Nederland for over 30 years. The company is known for its high quality services and personal approach.
The transaction marks an important milestone for both Administor and Werring & Schuler. As of 6 January 2025 Jacco Heemskerk has taken over the day-to-day management of Werring & Schuler from founder Marcel Werring.
