Christeyns NV has acquired a majority stake in Eco2Clean B.V., the hygiene specialist for the food industry based in Wijk bij Duurstede, the Netherlands. Co-shareholder FINKTEC has increased its minority stake. De Metz (Peter Visser, Toine Wilms and Marlon van der Maat) acted for Christeyns and FINKTEC on this transaction.
Christeyns, headquartered in Ghent (Belgium), is an internationally operating family-owned company specializing in hygiene solutions and cleaning systems for, among others, the food industry.
FINKTEC, a family-owned company based in Hamm (Germany), has been an important knowledge partner of Eco2Clean for many years, with extensive specialist expertise in hygiene and process optimization within the food industry.
Eco2Clean is a specialized supplier of high-quality cleaning and disinfection products for the food industry in the Netherlands.
This strategic step strengthens Christeyns’ position in the Dutch food & beverage market and supports its long-term growth ambitions.
