Hecny Transportation Ltd has acquired a strategic majority interest in Apex and its related companies Apex Export, Stair Freight Logistics and PF Douane.

Hecny is a family owned, Hong Kong based, leading and globally operating logistics intermediary, freight forwarder and customs broker for ocean freight as well as air freight, with company owned offices and warehouses throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa, North and South America.

Apex Shipping and its group, based in and operating from the Netherlands, are active in the same international logistics intermediary industry as Hecny, offering primarily ocean and air freight and value-added freight management services, including customs brokerage services, handling, and last-mile transport.

With this transaction Hecny and Apex consolidate and intensify their already longstanding strategic cooperation and partnership.
