Triacta, the private equity investor based in Baarn, the Netherlands has taken over Struyk Verwo Aqua and its Belgian affiliated company Stradus Aqua from the Irish conglomerate CRH PLC. De Metz (Peter Visser and Bart van Zuuk) acted for Triacta.

Struyk Verwo Aqua is the market leader in the Netherlands in the field of (industrial) gutters and one of the leading manufacturers of road and pavement drainage channels, gullies and drains.

Stradus Aqua is the market leader in Belgium for sewer pipes and inspection drains and produces a broad spectrum of customised and prefab concrete products.

Triacta is a hands-on PE investor with a focus on midsize businesses with headquarters in the Benelux. This transaction is closely connected to other recent acquisitions by Triacta in the drainage and drainage systems market, namely TBS Soest and Rademakers Gieterij, which were taken over from Ballast Nedam. With these acquisitions Triacta has built a strong platform for further organic and acquisitive growth in this industry.
